Buying a Spanish/Classical Guitar...
Guitar Lesson
I want to find out what would be considered the PRIMO spanish guitar
available on the market today? I know Cordoba makes a good classical and
I've played a few decent models that have been made by Alvarez and even
Takamine. I also know that Segovia played a Hauser for many years. I
play some spanish. and I dabble with Classical here and
there. I have also been known to play jazz on a spanish guitar just
because the feel is so much more comfortable. What would be recommended?
If you want a high end boutique guitar. and sounds amazing. She is a fabulous player and
would make any guitar sound good though.
Also look into Ramirez. Made exclusively in Madrid and a few 100 make
it to America each year. I was lucky enough to find an R2 (the middle
of the three qualities they produce) a couple of years ago for about
$2K. Incredible bell tones - not too bright.
